Through the course of my graduate studies I've been lucky enough to be involved in projects that have allowed me to travel around the United States and the world. I've made two trips to Antarctica and the South Pole as part of a science mission to install space weather monitoring instruments, New Zealand, which falls en route to Antarctica when travelling to and from the United States, and Alaska as part of a research project involving a sounding rocket launch. I've also traveled around the US for various conferences, colloquia, research work and fun!
Nestled in the Appalachian mountains, I've been lucky to call Blacksburg my home for eight point five years. In my spare time, I've made it a point to get out and explore nearby trails, parks and other interesting sights.
